ATOTAL is the proposal for the musical component of the Philip K. Dick portrait-weekend at CENTQUATRE-PARIS. ATOTAL is an audiovisual/live AV concert designed to deconstruct in order to better reconstruct the processes of imposing will through repetition and absolute synchronism, and to propose an opening onto a perhaps saving de-coincidence. When pushed to its extreme of absolute coincidence of the captive viewer's perceptions, the work of total art resembles the mental manipulation techniques of totalitarianism, proceeding through the abolition of the critical mind, repetitive semantic bludgeoning and subliminal messages. The generative work is created by Antoine Schmitt, while the music is composed by Franck Vigroux.
