At dusk, Jacques Perconte's luminous and sound installations invite us to receive the light of the sun, the moon, and the stars, making the ancient stones of the abbey vibrate with a new clarity. Using the reality of our environment as a motif, from its majestic nature to its scarred landscapes, the artist reveals the immense beauty of our heritage through moving tableaux. Mountains, forests, cities, rivers, lakes, seas, and oceans unite in a great flow, evoking what Romain Rolland calls the "oceanic feeling," that emotion which annihilates temporality and space, immersing us in a great whole.
