Jeanne Susplugas’ committed approach addresses all forms and strategies of isolation. She never stops questioning the relationship of the individual with oneself and with the other, in the face of an obsessive and dysfunctional world. She explores different mediums - drawings, photographs, installations, sculptures, sounds, films - as many languages that enrich each other to create a singular aesthetic, seductive in appearance but quickly dis- turbing and grating. Her multifaceted, transversal work, coherent and precise, confronts the viewer with contradictory sensations - disturbed and reassured, worried and serene. Her work has been widely shown in France and abroad.
