Lauren Moffatt is an Australian-born artist working with video, performance and immersive technologies. Her work, often presented in multiple forms, explores the subjective ambiguity of connected bodies, and the frictions between virtual and physical worlds. Lauren Moffatt studied at the College of Fine Arts (Australia), the University of Paris VIII (France), and the Studio National des Arts Contemporains du Fresnoy (France). She lives and works between Berlin and Valencia. Her work has been presented at the Palais de Tokyo (France), Villa Medici (Italy), HMKV (Hardware Medien kunstVerein) (Germany), UNSW Galleries (Australia), Daegu Art Museum (South Korea), Museum Dr. Guislain (Belgium), SAVVY Contemporary (Germany), FACT Liverpool (England), Sundance Film Festival (USA), ZKM (Germany), Q21 Freiraum (Austria), and at La Gaîté Lyrique (France).
